About Us
Gordon DeWitte founded DeWitte Construction in 1978 after relocating to the Coachella Valley. He was a graduate Civil Engineer, with over 45 years’ experience in the building industry. Gordon passed in December of 2017 at 89 years old. In his past 15 years working with Wade Harvey and sharing the same work values, ethics, and goals, Gordon and Wade became partners. Since Gordon’s passing, the privilege of carrying on his legacy has been passed on to Wade.
Wade Harvey, our President and CEO, has over 30 years of experience in the building trades. Focusing mainly on new custom homes, custom home remodels, and commercial development taking place in Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla, The Vintage, Bighorn, Traditions, and The Hideaway. He believes that building a home should be a pleasurable experience, both for the client and himself. He loves a challenge and has succeeded in all his endeavors. Wade has a vast array of happy clients, and considers all clients a part of his family. Client satisfaction is his ultimate goal in which he takes pride and confidence in achieving.

Maison Inc. defies the scale of a sprawling La Quinta home, dialing in the intimacy, practicality, and warmth.
Architect Jim DeFord, a veteran of desert club homes since 1985, created the floor plan then turned it over to Nesen and Davis to carry out the full scope of the interior — everything from cabinetry and ceiling designs to lighting, tile, and hard surfaces. The designers worked in tandem with Wade Harvey, owner and CEO of DeWitte Construction Inc. in Indio, and his superintendent, John Klauk, to finesse the empty shell into a desert retreat that would thrill their repeat clients.
“This is where we shine,” Nesen says. “It’s always more successful when we don’t just envision something and hand it off to someone else to draw. We are the vision and the execution.”
